Te Deum Performance in Spring, Texas

You are invited to the premiere performance of Te Deum, presented by the Texas Master Chorale and orchestra, on Monday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Spring, Texas. Te Deum is a concert piece of music commissioned and released under the imprint of Jubal House Publications in association with the Brehm Center and the Fred Bock Institute of Music. The Te Deum text is one of the historically significant creedal statements from the early church, and while hundreds of settings have been written for it over the centuries, composer Dan Forrest says, “Nonetheless, the text appealed to me with its unshakable affirmation of bedrock truths about the triune God, and I set out to find a way to create a setting of my own.”
