Fuller Community Reflects on Reconciliation Theme During Lent
::
03/13/13
In the last chapel session of the 2013 Winter Quarter, the
Fuller community shared communion together in remembrance of the Lenten season
Feb. 13. Reflecting on the theme of
Reconciliation, the Fuller Vocal Ensemble performed, “Love is the More
Excellent Way,” and after a heartfelt testimony from student Perry Moore, sang
“I’m Not Afraid.”
Fuller’s newly elected President, Dr. Mark Labberton,
expressed his desires and hopes for the future of the seminary during his
benediction. He said his election is thrilling and daunting--he mentioned both Richard Mouw and David Allan Hubbard
have been men of incredible stature, and that the issues Fuller faces in 2013
are quite substantial. He said he is
delighted and deeply honored for the opportunity.
