The Graphic Designer will serve to design and produce communication and marketing collateral that best represents Fuller’s mission and vision. The designer will report to the Director of Marketing Strategy and Analytics and serve on a team that is responsible for leading and managing the Fuller narrative and brand.

Essential Functions

  • Design collateral as needed and directed to support Fuller’s web and print design needs
  • Help develop, maintain, and enforce Fuller brand standards and cohesive institutional visual identity
  • Assist, when needed, to implement layouts, design ideas, and collateral materials for FULLER magazine
  • Offer creative insight and direction as requested by institutional partners and/or supervisors
  • Work with creative services team to create and produce promotional materials for digital needs and coordinate all web design with advertising campaigns
  • Provide creative insight and direction for the institutional partner when needed
  • Manage each project assigned by the Director of Marketing Strategy and Analytics
    • Respond to all established time frames sufficient to meet deadline requests allowing adequate timing for approval boards and implementation
    • Inform the Project Coordinator on the progress of each project
    • Prepare and deliver files ready for print or electronic implementation
    • With the assistance of the Production Coordinator, process and organize all appropriate paperwork related to each project
  • Design user-friendly templates for campus-wide use
    • Assist in the development of web templates, in conjunction with the web support team
    • Print collateral templates
    • Prepare presentation templates as needed for campus-wide use


  • Art/graphic design degree required
  • Must have significant practical design experience including understanding of print and electronic medium and working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and website development tools
  • Experience with HTML coding and PowerPoint/Keynote a plus
  • A portfolio featuring a diversity of design styles is required evidencing design capability and creative style consistent with industry standards of excellence
  • Detail orientation, customer service, respect for deadlines, good communication skills, and collaboration skills are a must
