Airports
Three local airports provide easy access to Fuller Seminary:
• Burbank International Airport (15 miles from Fuller Seminary)
• Los Angeles International Airport - LAX (32 miles from Fuller Seminary)
• Ontario International Airport (37 miles from Fuller Seminary)
Rental Cars & Shuttles
Rental Car and Shuttle services are available at each airport. Shuttles typically cost $35 each way. Two common shuttle services are:
- SuperShuttle (Fuller Seminary guests discounted rate available)
- Primetime Shuttle
- FlyAway Shuttle (Only available from LAX. Shuttle transports you to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. You can then take the Gold Line train to Pasadena - see below)
Car
If
you decide to tackle the infamous LA freeways by car, allow additional
time for everyday Los Angeles traffic. For driving directions from

Metro Train System
Fuller
is located within blocks of two main stops along the Metro train system
of Los Angeles. The Metro Gold Line services the Memorial Park Station
and the Lake Avenue Station.
To get to Fuller Seminary from LAX using the Metro system, you must
first take the FlyAway shuttle from the airport to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles (do
not take the Metro train from LAX all the way to Union Station as it
may take up to several hours). Once you arrive at Union Station, purchase a
Metro ticket and board the Gold Line going North to theLake Avenue exit. From Lake Ave, you can walk two blocks to the Fuller Admissions Office and then one more block to the main campus. This trip will take anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours one-way.
Bus
Metro Bus lines 181, 256, and 780 serve Colorado Blvd., just one block south of Fuller Seminary. In addition, Foothill Transit line 187 serves Colorado Blvd. Stops at Madison, Oakland, or Los Robles get you within walking distance of the campus. Fares range from $1.25-$1.50 one way, or $3.00 for a day pass. Visit the Metro online for further information. This trip will take upwards of 1.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic.
