Biographical Information:
Shelley Trebesch is assistant professor of leadership and organization development in the School of Intercultural Studies. She previously served in Singapore as global director for Membership Development for OMF International. In this role, she sought to enhance the effectiveness and potential of 1,300 OMF workers serving in a variety of ministries including church planting, relief, development, and medical services.
Trebesch’s interest in leadership was sparked during the years that she acted as campus director for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Flagstaff, Arizona. She then completed an MDiv and PhD at Fuller, where she served in a variety of roles, most recently as director of Academic Advising for the School of Intercultural Studies from 1995 to1998 and teaching from 1996 to present.
Beyond her work with Fuller, Trebesch teaches, leads, and consults in other organizational contexts locally and internationally. Among these are InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Frontiers, National Evangelical Christian Fellowship of Malaysia, Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Evangelical Association of Chinese Churches, Urbana, Oasis International, Children’s Hunger Fund, Prison Fellowship International, Pioneers International, and TEAM International.
