This year’s Integration Symposium topic was member care in mission and aid settings. Member care is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on supporting mission/aid personnel in their work and lives. The speaker was Dr. Kelly O’Donnell who works as a psychologist with Member Care Associates, based in Europe. Dr. O’Donnell studied clinical psychology and theology at the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. Together with his wife, Michele, who is also a psychologist, and their two daughters they have lived in five countries and consulted with agencies/workers in about 40 countries.
