Master of Arts in Crosscultural Studies
96 units
The Master of Arts in
Crosscultural Studies (M.A. CCS) program is designed to prepare students with
less than three years of crosscultural ministry experience for service in
multicultural situations. Combining the resources of the School of Intercultural
Studies (formerly World Mission) and the School of Theology, this degree program
provides special preparation for future crosscultural workers and other
professionals who hope to share their faith and lives in a multicultural world.
The M.A. CCS also emphasizes the integration of academics with hands-on ministry
through an 8-unit cross-cultural practicum related to your future goals.
The M.A. CCS requires the
successful completion of 96 quarter units, and a typical class constitutes 4
units. In addition to full-time and part-time study at the main campus in
Pasadena, you may also take up to half of the classes in a combination of
online, individualized distance learning, and extension campus courses.
