Master of Arts in Family Life Education 96 units
The Master of Arts in Family Life Education focuses on preparing persons to
do family life training in the church and in community organizations where
preventive, educational, and remedial skill development in parenting, family
life, and communication is offered. This degree equips Christian leaders to work
in and through the church in response to the needs of marriage and family life.
Students gain skills in preventative strategies for the support of healthy
families, while learning to identify and refer unhealthy families for proper
support.
The Master of Arts in Family Life Education requires the successful completion
of 96 quarter units. In addition to full-time and part-time study at the main
campus in Pasadena, options are also available for taking up to 16 units in a
combination of online and individualized distance learning courses. Many of the
courses necessary for the degree are offered at all five Fuller extension
campuses.
