Fuller Evening Visit

Fuller Evening Visit is yet another way you as a prospective seminary student can find out if Fuller Seminary is the right place for you. During this time, you will hear from the Provost, attend a sample lecture of the school of your interest, interact with staff from admissions, academic advising, housing, financial aid, and more, as well as connect with current students and other prospective students.
 
Whether you are confident that God is leading you toward a seminary education, or still discerning that call, you will find Fuller Evening Visit to be very helpful.

6:30 p.m.Greetings from Dr. Sherwood Lingenfelter, Provost of Fuller Seminary
7:00 p.m.Special Guest Lecture by Fuller Faculty members from all 3 Schools
8:00 p.m.Dessert and Reception – get information from Fuller Seminary staff members


DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS

  • Dinner will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. In addition, corporate worship will celebrate God’s direction in our lives. 
  • Dr. Sherwood Lingenfelter, Provost of Fuller Theological Seminary, will bring words of welcome. 
  • Fuller Faculty members from the schools of Theology, Intercultural Studies, and Psychology will give special lectures for Evening Visit guests interested in their fields. 
  • Get information from: Admissions, Financial Aid, Theology Academic Advising, Intercultural Studies Academic Advising, Psychology (Clinical & Marriage and Family Therapy) Academic Advising, Housing, Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, & the Arts

PARKING

Fuller Evening Visit will be held at Payton Hall Room 101 A & B, located at 135 N. Oakland Ave., Pasadena, CA. (download Campus & Parking Map, PDF, 136 KB) 

Parking attendants will be available to direct you to the event. The primary parking lot for Fuller Evening Visit is behind our Student Services Building, located at 250 N. Madison Ave. The entrance to this parking lot is on El Molino Ave., just north of Walnut St. 

  • If this lot is full, you may use the parking lot at the corner of Walnut St. and Madison Ave. (the School of Psychology parking lot).
  • If both lots are full, our third parking lot is at the corner of Corson St. and Los Robles Ave.
  • Parking passes are not required for Fuller Evening Visit.

Street parking in Pasadena has an enforced 2-hour maximum time limit, and officers patrol and cite regularly.  In addition, there is no overnight street parking in Pasadena without a permit from the city.  Guests who rent cars can usually park in parking structures provided by hotels, etc.
