TRANSPORTATION & LODGING INFORMATION

Fuller Theological Seminary is located in Pasadena, California, just northeast of Los Angeles.  Please click the following links for transportation information, lodging, and driving directions.

Transportation

 

Airports:

Three local airports provide easy access to Fuller Seminary:

  • Burbank Airport (15 miles from Fuller Seminary)

  • Los Angeles International Airport (32 miles from Fuller Seminary)

  • Ontario International Airport (37 miles from Fuller Seminary)

Rental Cars & Shuttles:

Rental Car and Shuttle services are available at each airport.  Shuttles typically cost $35 each way.  The most common shuttle services are SuperShuttle (www.supershuttle.com) and Primetime Shuttle (www.redvans.com).  Please check these websites for costs, availability, etc.

 

FlyAway bus service is available for travel between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. One-way fares are $3.00, and round-trip fares are $6.00. Passengers can then connect to the Metro Gold Line for service to Pasadena.

 

Rail:

The Metro Gold Line, part of the Los Angeles Metro light rail system, serves two stops within walking distance of Fuller Seminary.  The Memorial Park station is 5 blocks west of campus, while the Lake station is 5 blocks northeast of campus.  Fares are $1.25 one way and $3.00 for a day pass.  Visit www.mta.net for further information.

 

To get to Fuller Seminary from the Memorial Park Station, exit and turn left (walk east) onto Holly Street.  Travel 2 blocks to Garfield and turn left (north).  Walk one block to Walnut St. and turn right (east).  Travel 2 blocks on Walnut St. to the corner of Oakland Ave. & Walnut St.  The Weyerhaeuser Psychology Building is on the southeast corner, and registration is in the breezeway.

 

From the Lake Ave. Station, travel south (away from the mountains) on Lake Avenue for two short blocks to Walnut Street and turn right (west). Travel 3.5 blocks on Walnut to the corner of Oakland Ave. & Walnut. The Weyerhaeuser Psychology Building is on the southeast corner, and registration is in the breezeway.

 

Bus:

Metro Bus lines 181, 256, and 780 serve Colorado Blvd., just one block south of Fuller Seminary.  In addition, Foothill Transit line 187 serves Colorado Blvd.  Stops at Madison, Oakland, or Los Robles get you within walking distance of the campus.  Fares range from $1.25-$1.50 one way, or $3.00 for a day pass.  Visit www.mta.net for further information.

Fuller Seminary is located at 135 N. Oakland Ave., in Pasadena, CA.  The Admissions Office is located at 250 N. Madison Ave., 3rd Floor.

From the North:

  1. Drive south on the I-5 Freeway to the 134 Freeway east.

  2. The 134 Freeway automatically connects to the I-210 Freeway east.

  3. Exit at Lake Ave.

  4. Turn right on to Lake.

  5. Turn right on to Walnut St.

  6. Turn right on El Molino Ave.

  7. Turn left into the Fuller parking lot.

 From the South:

  1. Drive north on the I-605 Freeway to the I-210 Freeway west.

  2. Exit at Lake Ave.

  3. Turn left on to Lake Ave.

  4. Turn right on Walnut St.

  5. Turn right on El Molino Ave.

  6. Turn left into the Fuller parking lot.

 From the East:

  1. Drive west on the I-10 Freeway.

  2. Take the 57 Freeway north to the I-210 Freeway west.

  3. Exit at Lake Ave.

  4. Turn left on to Lake Ave.

  5. Turn right on to Walnut St.

  6. Turn right on El Molino Ave.

  7. Turn left into the Fuller parking lot.

 From the West (Santa Monica area):

  1. Drive east on the I-10 Freeway to the 110 Freeway north.

  2. The 110 Freeway turns into Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena. Continue north on Arroyo Parkway.

  3. Turn right on Green St.

  4. Turn left on Los Robles Ave.

  5. Turn right on Walnut St.

  6. Turn left on El Molino Ave.

  7. Turn left into the Fuller parking lot.

 Driving Directions from local airports:
 

From Burbank Airport:

  1. Exit the airport and turn left (north) onto North Hollywood Way.

  2. Merge onto the I-5 Freeway south.

  3. Merge onto the 134 Freeway east toward GLENDALE/PASADENA

  4. The 134 Freeway automatically connects to the I-210 Freeway east.

  5. Exit at Lake Ave.

  6. Turn right on Lake Ave.

  7. Turn right on Walnut St.

  8. Turn right on El Molino Ave.

  9. Turn left into the Fuller parking lot.

 From LAX:

  1. Exit the airport to Sepulveda Blvd. South.

  2. Take the I-105 Freeway east to the I-110 Freeway north.

  3. The 110 turns into Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena. Continue north on Arroyo Parkway.
