Church in Contemporary Culture

Effective Fall 2014, this emphasis will be discontinued and this page will be removed from the Fuller website. Students currently enrolled in this emphasis will be allowed to complete their remaining emphasis requirements and must contact their academic advisor for more detailed information.

Technological and social changes have completely altered our cultural landscape in the 21st century. In the complex multicultural, multimedia, and multisensory tableau of today's world, people yearn for meaning and connection more deeply than ever. How can the church respond?

You'll find no better place to engage questions about church and culture than Fuller. Our Brehm Center and other pioneering initiatives bring together theologians, practitioners, and students to lead the conversation about the church's role in an ever-shifting cultural context. Our world-class faculty will help you learn to evaluate different forms of church and mission through a lens of cultural understanding.

How will you use the tools of a new era to be a faithful bearer of Christ's gospel?
