Current Ministry Position: Mentor-at-large, MentorLink International

MentorLink (MLI) seeks to bring transformational leadership development worldwide to leaders-in-ministry. My main focus under MLI is co-directing the work of the Network for Developing Latin Leaders, a network that equips Latino leaders and leadership developers who in turn are mentoring others in Latin American countries.

Life in Ministry: I became a Christ-follower at age 17 and have been actively involved in some kind of ministry for about 35 years. For a number of years I served as a lay leader, then transitioned into pastoral ministry, and later made the transition to cross-cultural ministry (missionary) in Latin America. My work over the years has focused on spiritual formation, discipleship and leadership development. Over the past 10 years I have taught courses in Leadership, Mentoring, and Pastoral Ministry in English and Spanish in 8 different countries. My academic training includes a BA, two MAs, and a Doctor of Ministry. I love networking with others. My passion is serving in a Barnabas-type role of coming alongside leaders-in-ministry and encouraging them as they live out their calling.

City/Country: I am currently living in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Family: Ruthie and I have been married for 23 years. We have 3 daughters—Camille (21), Mandy (20), and Sarah (18). Ruthie currently serves as an assistant to the Office of Missions Mobilization and Ministry Partnerships of the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Other Information: As a family we have lived in 4 states (California, Arizona, New York, Colorado) and 3 different countries (USA, Costa Rica, Ecuador). As a family we enjoy photography, camping, hiking, watching movies, reading, and our 2 basset hounds, Sherlock and Penney. Frank loves spicy foods and dark roast coffees.
