Degrees and Certificates
The Extended Education team is here to serve local churches by providing graduate theological degree opportunities for ministry within a local church context, in off-campus, nontraditional settings.
The Certificate Program

Certificate in Youth Ministry and Certificate of Christian Studies • Requires 6 selected courses • Offers an excellent introduction to theological study
The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership
• Requires 18 courses • May be completed entirely in extension • Includes courses in biblical studies, church history, theology, and leadership ministry • Designed to enhance the ministries of those called to leadership
The Master of Arts in Theology
• Requires 24 courses • May be completed entirely in extension • Includes courses in biblical studies, church history and theology, ministry, and nine electives • No language or thesis requirement
The Master of Divinity
• Requires 36 courses • May be completed entirely at select extensions: Seattle, Menlo Park, and Phoenix • Prepares students for full-time, professional ministry • Students may transfer courses between programs, allowing for flexibility and exploration.
