Construction of the David Allan Hubbard Library is moving right along. The frame of the building is essentially complete, and by the end of August it will be closed. The new library will open on January 2, 2009, and will provide a great new place for Fuller students to access resources and study. The Hubbard Library will hold more than one million new items, as well as providing many new study spaces and conference rooms for groups to work in. Once the new library is open, the McAlister Library will be closed for five months. It will be completely renovated and will become part of the Hubbard Library. One new benefit will be a computer lab with brand new computers, provided by the All Seminary Council.

Other summer projects include:- A new roof for 120 N. Oakland.
- A new storage building next to Payton Hall.
- A renovated Neuropsychology Lab in the Weyerhaeuser Building.
- A new storage building for the International Services Office.
New electrical service for the campus. Payton Hall, Kresge Hall, and the McAlister Library will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on August 15 until 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2. We are replacing the electrical infrastructure on the west side of the campus, as it is more than fifty years old and will no longer support the demands placed upon it for reliable electrical service. Other offices on the campus will remain open during this time, as well as the Campus Post Office and the Switchboard.
