Canadian citizens are not required to obtain a student visa to enroll in an academic program in the US. However, Canadian applicants must still obtain the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility. Typically the I-20 is the document needed to apply for the F-1 student visa for international applicants form other countries. However, Canadian citizens are exempt from needing the F-1 visa. The I-20 will be sufficient for entering the US legally as a student at Fuller.
