Fuller’s ESL Program has equipped hundreds of international students with the skills and confidence to start their seminary education in English. Unlike traditional ESL classes, Fuller’s ESL curriculum trains you in the master’s-level, theological English necessary to function at seminary. Our Intermediate and Advanced levels give you realistic practice and strategies to overcome the challenges of studying in a foreign culture and language.
ESL Program Learning Outcomes
- Students function competently in academic English for graduate coursework.
- Students demonstrate a basic understanding of the English language used in seminary or ministry.
- Students adapt effectively to the academic standards and cultural norms of graduate study, notably the seminary's educational system.
