Fuller Housing is comprised of traditional apartment buildings, bungalow
homes, converted dormitories, and shared houses. Some of our buildings are
historic landmarks protected by the City of Pasadena while others were privately
owned homes before they were bought by Fuller and converted into student
housing; while Chang Commons is Fuller's first brand new housing complex
consisting of 179 units in four apartment building.
The majority of our units are located within two blocks of the Fuller campus
in the heart of downtown Pasadena (see
Community in the City). Most complexes are so close you can
walk (or run!) to class - be sure to also check out our
transit page on how you can survive at Fuller without a car. The farthest is a few miles from campus. We have one main children's playground park
and a smaller play area specifically designed for toddlers (aptly named the Tot
Lot) . See
the Unit Amenities Chart and Map for more
information.

Fuller Housing's three Intentional
Communities offer cooperative living in shared homes and co-housing apartments.
Rooms are within our
Intentional Community (IC) shared homes and may be accepted by a single student,
two roommates, or a family of two. IC shared homes have a kitchen, living
areas, and bathrooms that are shared. Rent ranges from $630-870/month,

How do Fuller Housing rent rates
compare to others in the area? The chart below compares Fuller Housing's
rent rates of current and new students with that of other local apartments. As you can see Fuller Housing's rates are
10-30% below area rates. In the past 1-2 years, there are 2000+ new luxury
residential units being built within one mile of campus, many with rates 50%
above Fuller Housing's rates.
