Annual Programs

Harvest Festival

Fuller's largest family event takes place on the last Friday of October each year on the center mall of the main campus.  A Bounce House, pony ride, giant slide, and hay ride, along with balloons, cotton candy, and popcorn are just a few of the fun things available.  Kids and adults of all ages are invited to wear a fun costume and enjoy!

Korean Seminars

In partnership with Korean faculty members, Residential Community organizes Korean language seminars on various topics.

All Nations Banquet

A celebration of diversity at Fuller, the Festival of Nations displays the food, dance, song, dress, and traditions of various cultures represented on our campus.  This event is lead by the International Services Office at Fuller, and ResCom is proud to partner in this wonderful event!

Quarterly Programs

Parents' Night Out

The Residential Community office organizes an evening of free childcare for families in Fuller housing once each quarter so that the parents can spend time alone and enjoy a date!

Kids Connections Events

Quarterly events designed for enjoyment and enrichment of our resident children, usually for those in elementary school. In past years, we've had art adventures, music awareness and entertainment, movie days and Storytime.  Parent attendance is required for those under the age of 5. Refreshments are always provided.

Family Barbeque

An end of the quarter time to gather & fellowship for resident families, usually in a pot-luck setting. In seminary, family life is busy and hectic and often it is difficult to find time to spend and know other people with children as well. This event is geared to allow families to play, eat, talk and pray together. Our prayer is that life-long friendships will emerge from these quarterly gatherings, and that our resources can increase by knowing one another.

Weekly Programs

English Conversation Classes

Non-credit ESL conversation classes for international student spouses are offered each year in the Fall, Winter and Spring quarters.  These classes, led by Janna McConnell, meet biweekly, offering an opportunity to develop speaking and listening skills and to become more comfortable in a new culture.
