Fuller
Seminary recognizes the importance of pastoral care for its
students. The pastoral care team works to identify and meet
pastoral needs of Fuller Seminary’s
students. They are there to listen to you and pray for
you. The Office Pastoral Care Team is located on the Second
floor of the Catalyst Building, in the south campus. You may
make an appointment to meet a pastoral care team member by

International
Students Concerns Committee
The
International Students Concerns Committee is a
special-interest group sponsored by the All Seminary Council.
The International Students Concerns Committee seeks to promote
a sense of identity among international students to assist
them in their adjustment to life at Fuller, and to serve as a
facilitator of fellowship among international students and a
bridge with the North American students to build a supportive
community together.

Career
Services
As
an international student you may be eligible to work
on-campus, and off-campus in some specific situations (consult
the International Services Office for detail). The Office of
Career Services is ready to assist you with your vocational
needs by providing, information, and helping you with the
preparation of employment applications and resumes for
on-campus and off-campus employment. The Office of Career
Services is located on the lower level of the Student Service
Center 250 N. Madison Ave. and can be contacted by e-mail

Seminars,
Workshops & Orientation
The
ISO is planning to do one workshop per quarter dedicated to
the needs of Fuller’s international community.
Topics such as taxes, re-entry, employment, visas,
immigration regulations, and cultural adjustment will be
covered. If you
have any suggestions or questions concerning these events
please contact Sam Bang at iso-office@dept.fuller.edu.

Airport
Shuttle Service
The
ISO can provide airport shuttle service from Los Angeles
International Airport (LAX) for international students and
their families who are arriving at Fuller for the first time
or departing for the last time. This service needs to be
scheduled in advance with the ISO. Please contact the
ISO with your arrival or departure plans at least two weeks
prior to your travel date. You can download the

ESL Program
Fuller’s ESL Program
has equipped hundreds of international students with the
skills and confidence to start their seminary education in
English. Unlike traditional ESL classes, Fuller’s ESL
curriculum trains you in the master’s-level, theological
English necessary to function at seminary. Intermediate and
Advanced levels give students realistic practice and
strategies to overcome the challenges of studying in a foreign
culture and language. For more

Center
The
Service Center is located at 250 Madison Ave. It provides
"one-stop" assistance to students with most of their
Fuller transactions. The following Offices at located in this

Food
The ISO, All Seminary Council (ASC),
and the Los Angeles Food Bank offer a food giveaway every
month for low-income Fuller students and the community around
Fuller. You must meet certain income
qualifications to participate.
The
food program is held on the first and third
Wednesday of each month from 11:00AM-2:00 PM.
Food may be picked up at the ISO garage located NE of the
Field Education office.

Furniture
Services For International Students
The
ISO has a furniture program from which you can borrow donated
furniture.
To
participate in the program families need to pay a total of
$250 ($200 processing fee + $50 refundable deposit) and
singles need to pay a total of $200 ($150 processing fee + $50
refundable deposit) in
order to enroll in this program. You will need to pay
the fee before receiving furniture. Upon receiving
payment, ISO will loan you beds and some basic furniture items for your
apartment.
If
you wish to receive furniture, stop by the office and pick-up
a furniture request form or download it
here,
fill it out, and return it to the office along with your
deposit. A staff member will contact you to make an
appointment for furniture delivery.
The
furniture coordinators can transport the furniture for you if
you live within a 10-mile radius from Fuller.

available for loan are as follows:*

beds with mattresses

- Dining Table + Chairs
- Dresser
- Bookshelf
You may also
receive a set of dishes and kitchen items if you would like
them. Please check this option on the furniture form.

Please note that all items are available on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Availability depends upon having
received a corresponding donation. We are committing to
giving you the best possible items that are available at the
time of your request.
