Discussion with Beliefnet's Steven Waldman

Steven Waldman, CEO of faith website beliefnet.com, will speak Monday, May 12, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Payton 101, on concepts from his new book Founding Faith: Providence, Politics, and the Birth of Religious Freedom in America. For more information, contact dohlson@fuller.edu or 626-584-5471.

Steven Waldman is co-founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of Beliefnet.com, the largest faith and spirituality website. Previously, Waldman was National Editor of US News and World Report and National Correspondent for Newsweek.

His writings have also appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Slate, the Washington Monthly, the National Review and elsewhere. He appears frequently on TV and radio to discuss religion and politics. His book on the Founding Fathers and religion will be published by Random House in early 2008. Waldman lives in New York with his wife, writer Amy Cunningham, and their children Joseph and Gordon.
