The Alumni Council is currently seeking nominees for council positions coming open in June 2013 and nominations are NOW being accepted. The Fuller Theological Seminary Alumni Council is comprised of at least 12 members who interface with the seminary on behalf of alumni throughout the world. This is a special opportunity for Fuller alumni who have demonstrated enthusiasm for Fuller and a desire to deepen their level of commitment and service. The mission of the Alumni Council is to "develop lifelong mutually beneficial relationships between alumni and Fuller Theological Seminary through communication, commitment, representation and service."
The specific responsibilities are as follows:
- To establish and maintain contact with a specific constituency group or groups (decade in which nominee attended Fuller, geographic region, ethnicity, FTS school, gender, denomination and/or vocation) on a regular basis for report to the council.
- To attend semiannual meetings of the council for a three-year term (renewable).
- To support the council and Fuller Theological Seminary.
- To host alumni events.
- To serve on committees, boards, or search committees as requested.
