Welcome to the Presidential Search Webpage!

Profile-DBere-JPGAs chairman of the Fuller Theological Seminary Presidential Search Committee, I welcome you to learn about our search process and I invite your prayer and involvement.

We are confident in God’s call to the next president of Fuller Seminary and believe that you may be an important part of this process. Below you will find several important links to review.

The Fuller Presidency Opportunity Profile (PDF) has been developed with the extensive involvement of Fuller’s stakeholders. In recent weeks and months the search committee invited input from faculty, administration, trustees, staff, alumni, and donors. The resulting profile represents the input of over 1,000 contributors obtained through survey, focus groups, and other conversations, including the counsel of more than 100 outside Christian leaders from around the world. Our search committee welcomes your involvement and your nominations through the process described in the document.

As one of the world’s largest seminaries, Fuller Seminary is a unique organization that includes three schools (Theology, Psychology, and Intercultural Studies), multiple specialized institutes or centers, and regional campuses. Please explore our website to learn more.

Also for your reference, President Richard J. Mouw’s announcement of his June 2013 retirement is available here. Fuller Seminary and the broader evangelical community have been greatly blessed by Dr. Mouw's thoughtful, visionary leadership these past 20 years.

We invite your participation in this important search. Thank you in advance for being a partner with us as we pray for God’s guidance in this next season of leadership.

David L. Beré, Chair
