Hours: 10 to 20 per week (depending on start date)
Reports To: Associate Director of Field Education and Ministry Formation
Summary:
Provide detailed project maintenance and administrative assistance in the Field Education and Ministry Formation (FEMF) Office.
Essential Functions:
Customer Service- Responds to student and public queries on Field Education internships and practicum in-person, over the phone, by email
- Provides customer service and staffs the Front Office in the department when supporting the Front Office
Administrative- Assists in the online data management of students’ internships and practicums
- Assists in consolidating quarterly students statistics from spreadsheets
- Assists in the coordinating the logistics for Field Education orientations, seminars, course events (reserving rooms; publishing flyers or advertising of events, seminars; ensuring event hospitality supplies are ready)
- Assists the FEMF team on FE events and projects as needed
Technology and Project Maintenance- Ability to initiate and complete multiple projects with accuracy and timeliness while working collaboratively
- Maintain and update Field Education’s 10 Moodle courses each quarter
- Maintain the Field Education websites in Moodle, Google sites, and Ektron
- Updates the fuller.edu.calendar with quarterly public announcements
- Compile quarterly internship data using Microsoft Excel and Google spreadsheets
- Maintain internship supervisor data in the seminary database (Banner/Omega)
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Must be in enrolled in Fuller’s Masters program and approved to be eligible for Federal Work Study funding
- Possess strong office administrative skills: organized, completes tasks on a timely basis
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the Mac environment
- Detailed-oriented and works with accuracy on web-based platforms: Moodle, Portico, Google applications
- Ability to create and edit pages on web based platforms: Google applications and Moodle
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Applications, and Moodle
- Ability to initiate and complete multiple tasks efficiently, with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit sound judgment
- Takes initiative and able to work collaboratively as a team member
- Dependable, punctual, conscientious, and possesses good work ethic
- Ability to bend, lift bulky items and carry up to 40 pounds
- Has a servant heart
