Data Entry Coordinator 2 (Work-Study)

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 15 per week
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
Reports To: Associate Director of Student Accounts
Summary:
This position provides data entry support to the SFS office and also performs front desk functions on a fill-in basis.

Essential Functions:
  • Enters outside aid and tuition remission payments
  • Enters registration and fee charges onto student accounts
  • Researches student account enquiries
  • Accepts and processes student payments
  • Assists students with online registration
  • Processes check requests
  • Assists with student loan disbursement process
  • Learns and provides general answers to enquiries about Fuller’s financial aid and student account policies
  • Provides back-up assistance to Program Service Coordinators as necessary
  • Assists with filing as needed
  • Special projects as assigned
 


Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Previous office experience, including data entry
  • Type 35 wpm or faster
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills, including highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Sense of humor
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to multitask
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Work well in a team setting and independently
  • Willingness to learn complex policies and procedures
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Occasional bending and stooping and heavy lifting of up to 25lbs
  • No financial aid experience necessary
  • Office environment with heavy computer use
 


Special Requirements:
  • Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
Notes:
  • 15 hours per week, flexible between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday

  • This position is subject to a background and credit check.
  • Federal Work-Study positions are open only to qualified U.S. Citizens and permanent residents whose eligibility to participate in the Work-Study program has been determined in advance by the seminary's Student Financial Services office.
