Chen Biao, male, born in 1966 in Hubei Province,CHINA.

Educational Experience—
After graduation from Wuhan University in July 1987, I started to work. Since I am deeply interested in philosophy and religious study, and believe that they are helpful in my seeking the meaning of life, I returned to school for study. I entered the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in September 1998, and was granted a MA degree in July 2002. My supervisor was Professor He Guanghu, a famous Chinese scholar, and my MA dissertation was about an American psychologist Erik Homburg Erikson and his thoughts of psychology of religion. For collecting needed materials for my dissertation and taking some courses at the Graduate School for Theology and Religion, I have been to Birmingham University as an “occasional student” and studied for one year from October 2000 to July 2001. In September 2002, I entered to Renmin University of China to do PH.D studies. The topic will be focus on Gordon Alpport’s psychology of religion.
