New Student Orientation
Congratulations on your acceptance to Fuller!
Spring 2008 Orientation will take place March 28, 2008.
Information and Schedules for Spring 2008 Orientation are available below in PDF format.
New student orientation,
coordinated by Student Life & Services (SLS), facilitates the transition of new students to Fuller. During orientation, new students are introduced to Fuller’s
vision and important student routines such as academic advising, registration,
and enrollment procedures. Students are also introduced to seminary rhythms
such as worship and campus life. Opportunities are provided for new students to
connect with other new students, returning students, faculty, and staff. All
new students are expected to attend.
For Fall Quarter, when the
majority of new students enter Fuller, orientation is held the week before
classes begin. This weeklong orientation is called Welcome Week (students who
enter in the Summer Quarter are invited to attend). Students who begin their
coursework in the Winter or Spring Quarter are invited to a one-day orientation
held prior to the first day of classes. These students may also attend the more
extensive Welcome Week.
In addition to the SLS orientation, some offices provide
supplemental orientations for their constituencies, such as the International
Services Office, Hispanic Church Studies Office, the Office of Presbyterian
Ministries, African American Church Studies Office, Korean Masters students in the
School of Intercultural Studies, etc. Please contact the Orientation
Coordinator for more details.
Contact the orientation office at 626-584-5435 or go to the second floor of
Kreyssler Hall on the Pasadena campus.
