Bio

Jun Woo Lee is a pastor, professor, social worker, and sign language interpreter. He practices community welfare focused on the welfare of people with disabilities in the church. This focus was inspired by his encounter with a deaf person during his college years. Dr. Lee is currently working at the undergraduate and graduate School of Social Welfare in Kangnam University aiming to live a life of a scholar who brings change in society and creates happiness. He specializes in welfare mission, welfare ministry, welfare management, welfare and rehabilitation for the disabled, sign language research, and sign language interpretation. Lee is a pastor and professor who continuously challenges himself with a philosophy of vision determined by direction and not speed.

Publications

Lee wrote over 60 books and translated over 10 publications from 1994 up to today. His major works are New Horizon of Church Social Work Practice, Welfare Mission and Welfare Ministry, Deaf Life and Sign Language, and Social Welfare Practice of Integration and Convergence.
