Bio

Augusto Rodriguez earned his MA in New Testament studies and MAICS in Church Growth at Fuller, where he later earned his PhD. He has been Adjunct Assistant Professor of Evangelism and now is Adjunct Associate Professor of Christian Ministry at Fuller Hispanic Center, where he teaches world religions and homiletics, and teaches Evangelism among Hispanics. Dr Rodriguez and his wife, Anabella, serve as senior pastors at Ministerios Nuevo Vivir in the city of North Hollywood, California since 1994.

Publications

Dr. Rodriguez recently published Conociendo las Religiones del Mundo. Historia, Cosmovisión, Vida y Prácticas (Knowing World Religions. History, Worldvision, Life and Practices) (2020). He has contributed two articles to Encyclopedia of Christianity and the Global South (2018) on “Daoism and Christianity,” and “Bolivia.” Other writings are, Paradigms of the Church in Mission: A Historical Survey of the Church’s Self-understanding of Being the Church and of Mission, 2012, and La Protección de Dios a los Inmigrantes: Una Reflexión Personal desde la Perspectiva Pastoral Hispana (God’s Protection to the Immigrant: A Personal Reflection from the Hispanic Pastoral Perspective).
