Chris Tweitmann joined the School of Theology in January 2006 as an Adjunct Instructor. Rev. Tweitmann began his professional career in business management and human resources for AMC Theaters before moving out of the corporate world to answer the Lord’s call to pastoral ministry. He graduated with his Masters of Divinity from Fuller in 2004 and was ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) that same year. Chris has been serving for the last 13 years as the Senior Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach, California.

Rev. Tweitmann has been the President of Fuller’s Alumni Council and continues to contribute to that team. Currently, he is the Head Spiritual Director of the Lutheran Cursillo Movement of Southern California. He and his wife, Beth, who is an elementary school teacher and Children’s Ministry Director, have two grown children and a spirited Italian Greyhound named Dante. Chris enjoys the gift of Sabbath by reading, watching and talking about movies, listening to music, enjoying the beach, and sharing good conversation about life, faith, and Jesus.
