Bio
Hae Kyung Kim received her master’s degree in Civil Society from Kyung Hee University’s Graduate School of NGO Studies. Dr. Kim founded an international development NGO in Korea, working in Tanzania, India, Nepal, and Haiti, and studied NGO mission at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Dr. Kim developed and teaches the Transformation Perspectives (TP) program for NGO workers serving the poor and marginalized. Through her ongoing academic and professional endeavors, Dr. Kim is leading the emerging field of missiology and NGO missiology in Korea.
Publications
NGO and Mission (2011) explains the understanding of NGOs through God’s kingdom and how mission is accomplished through social and community development, and Wish (Content on NGO Pioneer Missions,2016) documents how NGO missions are being pioneered and ministered.
