Bio
James Tedford is an affiliate assistant professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he teaches classes on New Testament and hermeneutics. He also serves as instructional design supervisor at Biola University, developing learner-centered online classes for all disciplines of the university. Under the supervision of Joel B. Green, Dr. Tedford’s dissertation on the “cup” metaphor in Matthew’s Gethsemane narrative passed with distinction in 2013. Dr. Tedford is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and the Society of Biblical Literature. He lives in La Mirada with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.
