Bio

Mark D. Roberts is a Senior Strategist for Fuller’s Max De Pree Center for Leadership, where he focuses on the spiritual development of leaders. He is the founder of the De Pree Center’s Flourishing in the Third Third of Life Initiative. Dr. Roberts is a Presbyterian pastor with extensive experience in church and non-profit leadership. With a Ph.D. in New Testament from Harvard, Mark teaches at Fuller, most recently in his D.Min. cohort on “Faith, Work, Economics, and Vocation.”

Publications

In addition to writing over 3,000 devotions for Life for Leaders and dozens of articles for a wide variety of publications, Mark has published eight books, including: Ephesians (2016); Can We Trust the Gospels? (2007), Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther (Nelson, 2004). Two articles, “Call, Calling” and “Paul as Pastor,” will appear in the forthcoming Dictionary of Paul and His Letters, Second Edition (2023).
