Bio

Matt Thomas has taught Hebrew and Old Testament at Fuller since 2009. Originally from Ohio, he has lived in southern California for over 20 years, minus 4 years that he and his wife served as missionaries in Central Europe. Dr. Thomas has pastored churches in two denominations for over 15 years total and is ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He and his wife, Jenny, have 4 children: 2 boys and 2 girls, 2 adopted and 2 homegrown.

Publications

Dr. Thomas is the author of These are the Generations: Identity, Covenant, and the toledot Formula (LHBOTS 551;2011). He also contributed several articles to both the Encyclopedia of the Bible and Its Reception (2011-) and the Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible (2000).
