Bio
Patrick Krayer, along with his wife, Joan, worked in South Asia for almost 28 years. Dr. Krayer’s focus was to represent Christ and facilitate the formation and growth of Christ-centered communities. He was also the executive director of the US office of Interserve for eight years and has taught graduate courses at Missio Seminary and Dallas International University.

Published materials appear in the Bible Translator, Evangelical Missions Quarterly (EMQ), International Journal of Frontier Missiology (IJFM), and Journal of Language, Culture, and Religion (JLCR). His book My Mother’s Sons: Managing Sexuality in Islamic and Christian Communities was published by William Carey Library. He also contributed a chapter to Islam and the Bible: Questioning Muslim Idiom Translations (2023).
