Stephanie Steele is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a professor at several Christian Universities. She primarily teaches couples and sex therapy, but has taught a wide variety of therapy-related courses. Before entering academia in 2019, Steele worked in private practice for a decade, primarily with couples experiencing marital distress. She has spoken at various conferences and organizations on the topics of therapy, parenting, and marriage, and is highly driven to heal families through uniting marriages. Steele lives in Northern California with her husband, four children, and Maltipoo named Blue. She is very active in her church community, loves to read for fun, travel, and is actively engaged in multiple philanthropic organizations.
