The Communal Reading of Scripture
All are invited to join Fuller staff, students, faculty, learners, and alumni to participate in a time of communal listening and reflection on scripture. The Communal Reading of Scripture is a spiritual discipline focused on reading aloud long narratives of Scripture in order to draw the listeners into God’s story.
We live in a world where there is usually more talking about Scripture than listening to Scripture. The Communal Reading of Scripture prioritizes the proclamation of the Word of God over personal interpretation, and acknowledges worship of God as a public activity. It provides the space to allow our lives to be shaped by the narrative of Scripture and to locate ourselves within God’s story.
Join via Zoom on Mondays from 12:00pm-12:50 PM PST for Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters when Fuller classes are in session during the 2021/2022 school year.
