A Christian Approach to Counseling and Psychotherapy: Christ-Centered, Biblically Based, and Spirit-Filled

February 17–19, 2021

Join us virtually for the School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy 2021 Integration Symposium featuring Rev. Dr. Siang-Yang Tan, senior professor of psychology. Dr. Tan is a licensed psychologist, distinguished speaker, and pastor, perhaps known most notably for his work on lay counseling and intrapersonal integration and spirituality. This year’s symposium will reflect the theme, “A Christian Approach to Counseling and Psychotherapy: Christ-Centered, Biblically Based, and Spirit-Filled,” and will include three lectures based on his textbook, Counseling and Psychotherapy: A Christian Perspective (Baker Academic, 2011). Tan has just completed writing the second edition of this textbook, which will be published at the end of 2021 or early 2022.
