Fuller Texas and the Pannell Center for Black Church Studies invite you to join us for an evening with best-selling author Jemar Tisby, who will share the heart behind this new book, The Spirit of Justice: True Stories of Faith, Race, and Resistance. The book features stories of bold individuals who have gone before us and how their legacy encourages us to pursue solidarity as the fight against injustice continues.

Tisby’s other books include The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism and the award-winning How to Fight Racism. 

Following the presentation, Dwight Radcliff, academic dean of the Pannell Center, will moderate an audience Q&A session.
 
Tisby will also be available for book signing. A limited number of copies of The Spirit of Justice will be available at the event, with an encouraged donation of $25 to benefit the Pannell Center.
 
Light refreshments will be provided.
