Premarital Counseling
For couples who are considering engagement or are currently engaged, FAMHS offers a package of 8 premarital counseling sessions. This package is designed to help couples explore and strengthen important aspects of their relationships such as spiritual compatibility, finances, and conflict resolution. Sessions will be facilitated by therapists certified to utilize the Prepare/Enrich premarital counseling package.
Additionally, FAMHS offers the premarital counseling that is required for those couples planning to obtain a covenant marriage license from the state of Arizona. Couples entering into a covenant marriage will discuss many topics that influence marriage relationships and the importance of the lifelong commitment required by covenant marriage. Through the premarital counseling process couples gain understanding of themselves, their fiancé, and that legal separation or divorce from their covenant spouse is only available for limited reasons.
