KEVIN D. OSBORN, PHD
Associate Provost for Enrollment Management and Vocation Formation
Kevin D. Osborn has served as the associate provost for enrollment management and vocation formation since 2017. He previously was associate provost for information services and chief information officer for five years, after coming to Fuller Seminary as the executive director of Distributed Learning in 2009.
Dr. Osborn has lived in the intersection of education and technology since 1998, helping seminaries and universities create and implement online learning programs that meet the high quality demands of faculty, accreditation associations, and ordination boards, while breaking down geographical barriers to serve more students. Prior to joining Fuller, he served as director of Educational Technology at Friends University in Wichita, KS, and director of Extended Learning at Asbury Theological Seminary.
Osborn holds an MA in Christian Leadership and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in educational technology. During his doctoral studies at the University of Kansas, he worked as a research assistant in the eLearning Design Lab in the Center for Teaching and Learning, and he helped design and implement online learning research in K-12 schools and in universities. He has also served liberal arts institutions that have a particular focus on the traditional undergraduate student, while offering graduate and degree completion programs.
In his current role, Osborn considers himself blessed to partner with education and technology leaders who are innovatively working to integrate the various facets of Information Services at Fuller Theological Seminary to serve Christ’s kingdom around the world.
Kevin Osborn, his wife, Michelle, and their four children now enjoy calling Southern California home after four years of living here. They worship with and serve the Santa Clarita Valley through Real Life Church in Valencia, California.
