John Bangs is a seasoned professor, teacher, pastor, author, and speaker. He served for ten years on the staff and faculty of a Christian university in the Seattle area. John also formerly served as Director of Fuller Theological Seminary’s Northwest Regional Campus. He has been teaching courses in Worship, Ministry, and Christian Spirituality as an adjunct and affiliate professor at Fuller since 2007. Serving as lead and associate pastor and worship leader in various Seattle-area churches for fifteen-plus years, John completed the Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Seminary and the Doctor of Ministry degree from George Fox University with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation. A minister of the Evangelical Covenant Church, John is married to an amazing woman named Tina Osterhouse–a published author, writer, speaker, and blogger–and they make their home at a place called Lake Joy thirty miles east of Seattle.
