Fuller Theological Seminary Partners with TimelyCare to Provide Comprehensive Student Wellness Services
Fuller Theological Seminary, a leading institution in theological education, is excited to announce its collaboration with TimelyCare, the nation’s top telehealth provider to US colleges and universities. This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive range of mental health and wellness services to Fuller students, perfectly aligning with Fuller’s mission of holistic student formation.
Dr. Ted Cosse, Executive Director of Fuller Clinics and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration: “Fuller already supports many of our students through our two mental health clinics – Fuller Psychological & Family services in Pasadena, and our newest clinic on the Fuller campus in Phoenix, AZ. Our collaboration with TimelyCare allows us to markedly augment our existing services, resulting in a depth and breath of wellness services to our students that is unprecedented in Fuller’s history.”
These wellness services include self-help digital services, teletherapy, psychiatric medication services, low-acuity medical services, and 24/7 emergency support. All of these services will be available in the US, and many will be available to students living outside the US. To help make these services available and accessible to as many students as possible, many of the services will be available in multiple languages.
Tiffany Schupanitz, a Fuller student, shared her thoughts on the new services: “Access to TimelyCare’s 24/7 mental health support is incredibly reassuring. Knowing professional help is always available significantly reduces the stress of managing academic and personal challenges.”
“Fuller is committed to helping our students develop spiritually, academically, interculturally, vocationally, and emotionally,” added Dr. Cynthia Eriksson, dean of Fuller’s School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy. “Our collaboration with TimelyCare underscores that commitment to our students’ emotional well-being.”
