Pasadena Campus Closed Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8
Fuller has been closely monitoring the severe weather warning issued by the City of Pasadena. High winds are expected to create hazardous conditions, including the potential for downed trees, flying debris, power outages, and increased fire hazards.
Due to the forecasted severe weather, Fuller’s Pasadena campus will be closed on Tuesday, January 7th and Wednesday, January 8th. This decision was made in the best interests of the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and other guests and consistent with the current City of Pasadena emergency preparedness advisories.
To minimize disruptions, all Pasadena-based in-person classes scheduled during this period will be moved to an online modality. Faculty will provide students with further details and instructions. Please monitor Canvas and email for class announcements as adjustments may need to be made.
Meetings originally scheduled to take place in person may be transitioned to an online modality at the discretion of the meeting organizers. Organizers will reach out directly with instructions and Zoom links, if applicable.
Fuller Chapel will be accessible via Zoom and YouTube Live.
Please note that severe winds may cause power outages in many areas, which could impact internet access to online classes or meetings for students, staff, and faculty. Additionally, SoCal Edison and Los Angeles Department of Power and Water may preemptively shut off power in areas that are considered high risk for fires. We advise students, staff, and faculty to charge all electronic devices as a precautionary measure.
