About Roman

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, in a family of church planters during the collapse of the Soviet Union, which shaped my desire to serve in full-time ministry. After earning a B.A. from Evangel University, I became an associate pastor at Moscow Central Assembly of God. While in ministry, I completed an M.A. in Christian Leadership at TCA College in Singapore, focusing on preaching as a communicative tool among Russian Assemblies of God pastors. My research interests include liturgical practices in leadership, especially in contexts with restricted freedom of speech.

Since 2023, I have transitioned into education and missions, serving as the director of “Pathway,” an institution that provides credentialing courses for the Assemblies of God fellowship, and as part of the lead team in the Russian AOG missions department. However, my greatest privilege and joy comes from being married to Lisa and raising our three beautiful children: Mark (7), Masha (4), and Elizabeth (5 months).
