Bio

Tony Jones is the author of Did God Kill Jesus? (2015) and an award-winning outdoors writer. He’s written a dozen books, including The New Christians: Dispatches from the Emergent Frontier (2008) and The Sacred Way: Spiritual Practices for Everyday Life (2005), hosts the Reverend Hunter podcast, and has taught at Fuller Theological Seminary since 2011. Dr. Jones is a sought-after speaker and consultant in the areas of emerging church, postmodernism, Christian spirituality, writing, and the outdoors. He served as a consultant on the television show The Path, and he owns an adventure guiding company, Crucible Creative. Tony is married, has three children, and lives in Edina, Minnesota.

Tony has written a dozen books including Did God Kill Jesus? and The Sacred Way. He has published scores of articles, both popular and academic, on subjects from youth ministry, prayer, and the emerging church, to hunting, canoeing, and dog training.
