CONNECTING TO WIRELESS AT FULLER

Fuller Seminary provides comprehensive wireless coverage for all students, staff, faculty and guests across all our campuses. We provide separate networks for different constituents as detailed below. In order to use Fuller’s wireless network you need either a Fuller Login or a Guest Pass provided by a Fuller associated group as detailed below and in this printable guide.

FULLER SEMINARY

This is Fuller’s primary wireless network made available to students, staff and faculty for use with their mobile devices or personal laptops. A Fuller Login is required for authentication to use this network. However, the login is only required once a quarter.

FULLER GUEST

This is Fuller’s wireless network provided to guests of Fuller. This network is for those taking advantage of the accommodations at Fuller’s Guest Center or attending one of Fuller’s many events. Passes to this network are provided by the Guest Center for those visiting there or by the group managing the event to which the guest is attending.

WHICH OPERATING SYSTEM ARE YOU USING?

IOS

TO CONNECT YOUR IOS DEVICE TO THE FULLER SEMINARY WIRELESS NETWORK FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

Open the Settings app
In the main settings screen select the Wi-Fi section
Select the network named “Fuller Seminary”
Once the network is successfully selected you will be prompted to authorize
Enter your Fuller Login credentials and tap “Login”
Upon a successful login you will presented with the following “Authenticated” screen (note - in rare cases, this could take up to a few minutes)
Simply click Done in the upper right corner of the screen and enjoy uninterrupted wireless access for up to three months!

TROUBLESHOOTING

In some cases, instead of the “Authenticated” screen, you may simply get a white screen with the tiny word “successful” in the upper left corner. The good news is that you are successfully authenticated. You can close the screen by tapping cancel and happily go about your internet life.
If you inadvertently tap the “Powered by Ruckus Wireless” link on the authentication screen you will see the following screen. Just tap Cancel or Done to clear it.

ANDROID

TO CONNECT YOUR ANDROID DEVICE TO THE FULLER SEMINARY WIRELESS NETWORK FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

Open your WiFi settings
Select the network named “Fuller Seminary”
Once the network is successfully selected you will be prompted to authorize
Enter your Fuller Login credentials and tap “Login”
Upon a successful login you will presented with the following “Authenticated” screen.
You may now enjoy uninterrupted wireless access for up to three months!

WINDOWS

TO CONNECT YOUR WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP TO THE FULLER SEMINARY WIRELESS NETWORK FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

Click the WiFi menu at the bottom of the screen.
Select the network named “Fuller Seminary” and be sure to check the box to “Connect automatically”
Once the network is successfully selected open your browser and you will be presented with an Authorization window.
Enter your Fuller Login credentials and click “Login”
Upon a successful login you will be automatically taken to your usual homepage.
You may now enjoy uninterrupted wireless access for up to three months!

MAC

TO CONNECT YOUR MAC LAPTOP TO THE FULLER SEMINARY WIRELESS NETWORK FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

Click the WiFi menu at the top of the screen.
Select the network named “Fuller Seminary”
Once the network is successfully selected a window will pop up prompting you to authorize.
Enter your Fuller Login credentials and click “Login”
Upon a successful login you will presented with the following “Authenticated” screen
Simply click Done in the lower right corner of the screen and enjoy uninterrupted wireless access for up to three months!

TROUBLESHOOTING

In some cases, right after the “Authenticated” screen appears you may see an error message about the webpage failing to load (see below). You can ignore this message and close the screen by clicking the Done button in the lower right corner of the window and happily go about your internet life.

FULLER OWNED LAPTOPS

If you use a laptop purchased by Fuller contact Tech Support for access to this administrative network. All mobile devices are prohibited on this network.
