Tom Combes is an adjunct professor in the School of Theology, teaching on youth, family and culture. He’s also on the adjunct faculty of Northwest Nazarene University. He’s worked for over 20 years for Young Life and currently serves as a staff trainer for the Southeastern United States. He lives in NW Georgia, in the small town of Rome with his wife and two daughters. His wife Wendi works in ministry to teen moms in their community. When he’s not teaching, training, reading, writing, or drinking coffee, he runs, rides (bikes), and paddleboards the foothills and rivers of the Appalachian mountains outside his front door.
Dr. Combes has contributed “Evangelism to Youth” in Youth Ministry in the Body of Christ (Nazarene Press). He has also contributed a number of articles on adolescents and culture, theology and youth ministry, and spiritual formation to Inside Young Life, a publication for Young Life staff.
