The Identity and Mission of Korean Immigrant Churches

APRIL 6–7, 2022

The KSC Symposium aims to present the identity formation and mission ethos of Korean immigrant churches both within the Korean American community and also to various other churches. The symposium will provide church leaders in the US with an interdisciplinary understanding of the identity and mission of the Asian American immigrant church in general, and Korean American churches in particular. Five outstanding scholars will give plenary lectures from historical, biblical, ethnological, and sociological perspectives, while additional thematic lectures, case study presentations, and plenary discussions will facilitate in-depth practical conversations between local church pastors.
